王已死

      “王已经死了,在位太久的王。”年初的澳网半决赛,德约科维奇击败费德勒,结束球王连续34场半决赛不败后,德约的母亲说了这样一句无心的话。

      U2407P6T12D3667448F44DT20080517161728 昨晚,费德勒在马德里大师赛的半决赛止步,输给了另一个新生代红人——穆雷。这场失败意味着费德勒争取年终世界排名第一的希望已经不复存在,打破桑普拉斯连续六个赛季年终排名世界第一记录的美好愿望只能停留在愿望上。不久前,纳达尔已经从费德勒手中夺走了08赛季ATP冠军榜排名第一的头衔。很残酷的现实,那个费氏王朝已经瓦解,那个曾经的王已经死去。

       我曾经很天真的以为08赛季费德勒就可以完成超越桑神14个大满贯的伟业,但现实却离这个终极目标越来越远。或许他还可以再次拿下大满贯,我依旧相信他可以打破桑神的记录,但一切都已经变得越来越困难。这样的局面当然不是一两场比赛决定的,但在职业网球的赛程中,几场关键战役的失利就足以酿成大患。费德勒纪元的终结或许就是始于澳网对“眼镜男”提普萨勒维奇的比赛。虽然结果费德勒在长盘中取胜,但这场比赛把费德勒战术体系中所有的漏洞都放大了。于是,机敏的德约成了2005澳网以来,纳达尔之外第一个在大满贯中击败费德勒的人。或许单核细胞增多症是失利的一大原因,但原因远不知这一个。

       不久后的迪拜,费德勒志在找回赢球节奏,但首轮就输给了穆雷。当时的穆雷远没有今天这样强大,只是费德勒自己出现了问题。一切还没有结束。印第安纳维尔斯大师赛,费德勒莫名其妙输给了费什——整场比赛费什的一发成功率只有百分之三十多。迈阿密大师赛,已经连输费德勒11场的罗迪克也成功翻身。到了红土赛季,费德勒依然如履薄冰,经常被低排位选手拖入抢七甚至决胜盘。在罗马,斯杰潘内克用费德勒曾经的武器——发球上网,击败了他。到了法网,一场出乎所有意料的溃败让人们不再相信费德勒能完成全满贯的伟业。

       紧接着来到了费天王最后的领地温布尔登。六连冠的伟业等待着他完成,而决赛前6场比赛让人们看到了希望,在草地上的费德勒似乎还是那么强大。尽管此前纳达尔拿到了职业生涯第一个草地赛冠军,尽管纳达尔在07年的温网把费德勒逼到了决胜盘,但我们没有理由怀疑费德勒在温网的统治力。然而,一场史诗般的决赛否定了一切。纳达尔比我们想象的还要强大,费德勒今年不断增多的正手失误在温网终于给了他最沉痛的一场失利。

       真正的噩梦还没有结束。北美硬地两站大师赛,费德勒的表现又一次让人失望。在多伦多,首轮面对法国人西蒙时,在决胜盘3-1领先时,费德勒用急躁的情绪和与裁判的争执以及连续的非受迫性失误把对手送入第二轮。然后是辛辛那提,他“意外”地输给了此前已经6次输给自己的卡洛维奇。至此,费德勒世界第一宝座转交给在后面等了158周的纳达尔。

       在这样的苦涩的之后,费德勒的奥运之旅也不太平。第四轮被此前从未击败过自己的布雷克击败。虽然双打的夺冠多少弥补了一点遗憾,但不可否认,在职业网坛费德勒的统治快要终结了。幸好还有美网,费德勒用中规中矩的表现捍卫了自己在法拉盛的荣耀,美网实现五连冠也是他本赛季最拿得出手的成绩。

       在排名6到10位的球员为进军上海奋力抢分的时候,很多人认为费德勒应该要趁着美网的夺冠找到自己的好状态,但在本周的马德里,这样的美好愿望还是没有成为现实。穆雷在经过一个夏天的洗礼后已经成为网坛当之无愧的第四人,但输给这样的对手,尤其是在美网决赛刚刚胜过的穆雷,就足以说明,现在费德勒对于排名前五甚至前十、前二十的球员已经没有那种必胜的把握。

       接下来,费德勒还会参加家乡的巴塞尔公开赛,但这站很多高排位的不会参加,即使夺冠也不能说明问题。最后一站大师赛巴黎大师赛参加与否还是问题。事实上,本赛季留给费德勒找回自信的最好机就是上海大师杯。面对冠军排名前八的高手,如果他能有好表现,就能在下赛季在愈加激烈的竞争中占据心理优势。换了赛历的09赛季注定不会太平,男子网坛可能陷入04年费德勒登基以来最为混乱的一年。09年的纳达尔势必将继续捍卫在红土的霸权,当然他也会巩固在温布尔登的优势。年轻的纳达尔也不会满足以此,他当然知道“得硬地得天下”,所以他也会尽力突破自己在澳网和美网的最好成绩。德约科维奇也不会满足现状,世界第一永远是他的追求。解决了心理和体能问题后,德约会变得更强大。第四人穆雷也将在09赛季有所作为,虽然立刻登上世界第一还不太现实,但很多人相信穆雷迟早会拿到大满贯,或许就在明年。当然别忘了德尔波特罗。这位夏天以来急剧蹿升的85后很有机会来到上海了,相信有了今年的强势表现,明年他还会有更惊艳的演出。这么一看,留给费德勒的空间真的已经越来越少了。接下来几个赛季,费德勒要从王者变成隐者,用更加务实的球风争取胜利,对于关键分关键局的把握对他来说更加重要。

       回到年初澳网那场失利,费德勒在赛后说了这样一句让人触动的话:“我制造了一个怪物,一个必须赢得一切比赛的怪物。”可能我们球迷和媒体,甚至专家,对于费德勒太苛刻了,但在历史面前我们又永远不愿意把“伟大”的标准降低:伟大就应该是不断刷新历史,不段创造记录,而不仅仅是带来胜利和冠军。想要做到伟大,你就必须做这样的怪物。事实上看看当前的球员个人记录榜上,费德勒已经创造了太多记录,他早已是那个“怪物”了。唯一能让人们满足的就是变得“更伟大”。即便如今的费德勒已经如此地接近“历史最伟大”,但当他渐渐脱离那条赢球轨道,他就再也找不到曾经的光芒。所以,费德勒不能在今天停止脚步,不能像海宁那样断然离去,而要争取每一个创造历史的机会,不管这样的机会还剩多少,不管留给他的时间还有多久。

收拾旧书,卖旧书

       我的房间已经乱了大半年了:书桌上堆了两摞足有四五十厘米高的书,这些书正是这一年来考八级、考法语时的课本、辅导书,如今他们已经完成了使命;书桌正中间是一堆“性命攸关”的材料、证书;书桌上的书架已经被那堆杂志压得快要塌了,每次多看一眼就会有整理一下的冲动——事实上从年初寒假到现在我就已经没法坐在书桌边看书写字了,我也从没多看一眼;而家里储物的地方也都堆满了以前的课本、旧杂志。这样的状况已经持续很久了,老妈也已经三番五次对我提出警告:自己再不收拾就全给我卖了。。。之前我也一直有借口:没时间收拾,有的书要等一切该做的事做完才可以收拾。不过现在,我终于没有借口了——该收拾了,也该和那些曾经陪我度过很多时光的书、杂志说再见了。

       其实骨子里我很喜欢收拾东西,因为每一次的收拾都是对过去的一种回忆。首先处理的是那些高中里的书。上大学前我没有卖高中的书,而是一本不落地留了下来。看着那两堆大半人高的书,我不知道是应该庆幸自己终于告别了那种题海苦战的日子,还是应该觉得悲哀——那三年学的东西我现在还记得多少?答案必然会让自己觉得羞耻。翻开那一本本数学练习册,只觉得自己已经看不懂那些符号,那些术语、概念对我来说恍如隔世。物理化学更不要说了,基本已经成为天书——这或许是每个文科生的悲哀,即便我理科学得并不算坏,我也很喜欢生物,但现在这些东西对我来说已经完全绝缘了,可能这一生我都不会去碰这些东西。翻开那些历史政治书依然很亲切——他们一直伴我走过了高中的整个三年。但翻开这些书,我看到的只有“要背的”下划线,并且对于历史、政治的真正学习并不在这些书本上。对于很多问题开始有真正属于自己清晰的认识也并不是因为这些书本的启示。我不知道这是我自己的悲哀还是课本的悲哀,抑或是教育的失败。。。

       终于和这些书说再见了。对于这些书本身我并没有什么留恋,只是和这些书陪伴的日子早已刻骨铭心。估计这堆书能有三四十公斤。

       整理过程中我最舍不得卖的是那八年的《读者》。无奈家里实在没地方放了,况且我现在还在不断买书,老妈也一直用“旧的不去新的不来”这样的话“蛊惑”我卖掉这堆《读者》。其实我再也不会去翻看那些旧《读者》——我有太多新的东西想看。只是我深知这八年的《读者》对我的影响实在很大。初一刚入学时,班主任兼语文老师就推荐每个人看《读者》。(PS:这位老师至今是我最喜欢的老师)从那时开始我就一期不落的买读者。三年初中,三年高中,《读者》一直是我乏味生活里的一点亮色。记得那时的自己最喜欢的事就是周末晚上坐床上边听CD边看《读者》。想想那时的自己是如此得易于满足……在我形成自己人生观、价值观的年龄段,《读者》让我变成了如今的我。很多时候,我都相信自己现在的很多观念都缘自读者的熏陶,例如讲求原则、公平,尊重每个人的个性自由,等等,当然还有理想主义。我一直都感谢《读者》的熏陶,以至于我一直推荐现在刚上初中的小孩看这本杂志——我相信喜欢看《读者》的孩子不会变坏,他/她将来至少是个正直的人。同时,《读者》也是我扩展知识面的一个媒介。上了大学,我依然在看《读者》,直到大三。可能是自己专业的原因,我开始觉得自己有太多的东西想看,除了那些让自己着迷的书本之外,还有很多杂志。《读者》依旧和五六年前一样,正统,睿智;而此时我看到的很多杂志却呈现出与之很不一样的风格——我开始崇拜《新周刊》的新锐、敏锐、尖锐,也喜欢《三联》的广博、富有生活气息,我也无限向往《财经》的专业、精英气息,当然《南方人物》的娓娓道来也已经打动了我。此外,为了自己喜欢的网球,那年我开始订阅价格不菲的《网球》杂志。除了杂志,我还一度沉迷于财经报纸:《21世纪经济报道》和《经济观察报》成了枕头边必有的读物。当然,那时候的学习本身并不是很清闲——我必须要放弃一些东西了。可能是自己真的长大了也可能是杂志本身质量的退步,我已经愈发地感到《读者》上面能打动我的文章越来越少了。同时我也意识到自己已经看惯了《读者》的“和谐”声音,需要有点更深层次的思考了,我需要的不再是那种快餐式的文摘阅读,而需要更深入、更新锐的阅读,并且我内心向往那种精英式的阅读。我意识到该和《读者》说再见了。于是,我从07年开始停止购买读者。曾经一度以为《读者》会陪伴自己一身,没想到这样的“关系”只持续了八年。

       看着这八年的《读者》,我其实很想做一个剪报,只是我知道我已经没那么多功夫了。即使做了,我可能也不会再去看了。这八年的杂志卖了实在很可惜,只是理智告诉我,该和《读者》彻底告别了。不多想了,只是希望收废品的人能把它们卖到旧杂志收购人那,让这些杂志回到想看《读者》的人手中,而不是被打成纸浆。

       除了高中课本、《读者》,还有一堆旧杂志、旧书也被我收拾出来,准备卖掉。那些原本挤在书柜里的杂志被清理掉后,书柜又恢复了“宽松”。看着一书柜三层的书,虽然还有一些还没时间去看,但我知道这些才是真正塑造自己个性的书,才是自己最愿意看的东西,也是让我享受到真正的思维乐趣的东西。虽然现在书柜有了些空间,但估计不用多久又会被填满,竖得放的书可能不得不横过来叠放。这得怪亚马逊——从过去的卓越到现在的亚马逊,我已经为其贡献了很多人民币。也怪自己,看到那些好书打出诱人的折扣就把持不住。这几年反正我没在新华书店买过一本书——不打折我才不买呢。

      今天就到这,那张可怜的书桌改天再收拾。那堆法语书我先不卖了,往储物的地方暂时搁一下了。我不想一下卖掉这么多书,也不想一下割裂掉自己和过去的这么多联系。等我下次回家再卖,那时或许还能让自己想起为了现在的状态所付出的一切……
